DACT have established an exciting annual programme of varied day trips, for people of all ages.  After listening to customers suggestions, we have planned a series of trips to suit almost everyone! 

There are mystery tours, pub lunches, trips to the seaside, historical buildings, museums, gardens, shopping trips and much more.  They are an ideal way of getting out and about,  to make new friends, renew old acquaintances and see interesting places. 

The trips are extremely good value for money.

 You can register for FREE for the DACT ‘Days-Out’ Scheme,  by simply calling us on 01327 701665. You will be asked for your full name, address and date of birth.  If you have any kind of mobility difficulties which you think we should be advised of, please notify us. e.g. you perhaps need to bring a tri-walker, trolley or a travel scooter on a trip.

Point to note: Please only book if you definitely intend to travel. 
  • Open to all ages as there are no age restrictions on DACT Days Out, but unfortunately all seats are charged at the same rate. 
  • Booking will be on a first-come first served basis. For trips that are fully booked we will run a reserve list and contact people if seats become available through cancellations.
  • Price quoted is for return travel only, unless otherwise stated. There is usually a separate entry fee for some attractions sometimes at reduced rates. Food, drink etc is also excluded.
  • Payment in cash should be made to the driver on the day of the trip unless stated otherwise.
  • 2 Pick-up locations  (please be on time as we will only wait 5 minutes) 

1. Brook Street Car park - The bus will depart 25 minutes before the scheduled departure time in the brochure 

2. New Street Bus Station outside DACT Mobility Shop - The bus will depart at the time scheduled in the brochure. 

  • Drop offs -  We will return in reverse order to the Bus Station first and then Brook Street. 
  • Home drop off -  Only Daventry passengers can be dropped off near to their homes on request. We regret we are not able to offer a return home service to villages outside the Town.   

CANCELLATIONS. if  you cancel a trip, less than 5 full working-days of the trip date or you do not turn up on the day, you will incur the full cost of the trip. If this happens we ask that you please pay to the DACT Office as soon as possible.

Please be aware that if you do cancel your booking late, you may prevent others from travelling on the trip and run the risk of the trip being cancelled due to low numbers.

DACT will do their best to make sure every trip  operates as advertised. However in circumstances beyond our control or minimum numbers not being met, we may have to cancel at short notice. We try to give a fair summary of a destination, but we cannot guarantee that all the content we may use is totally accurate.
